Setting small, realistic goals makes it much easier to reach your big goal in the end. Do make sure you can reach these goals in the short term. A goal that only has to be reached in 5 years is much less effective than a goal that has to be reached within a week. Sounds quite logical, right? Just think how quickly you get going, and above all keep going, with a goal that has no deadline. You always put it off because other supposedly 'important' things come your way.
Chop your final goal into small pieces. Of course we'll help you with this. Not only with reaching your goals, but also with setting realistic goals that really help you become the best version of yourself. Knowing why you do something makes it much easier to keep it up than doing something just because that's how it was explained.
That's why we are very transparent and explain the plan we make for you in plain language. Still stuck? No problem! We're here to guide you and explain.
Someone who can already see the finish line will run much faster than someone who has only just started.
What I noticed most is that the most successful people often go through life a bit faster and more enthusiastically than the average person.
I always found this very interesting, so during my research I started asking different questions.
There was always a link to be seen between companies that did well and companies that did excellently. Although some companies were very similar, the differences were big.
Of course this also has to do with how people work, the staff, the quality and so on… But I am convinced that business owners or managers with an achievable short-term goal do better business than those without a goal or with a long-term one.
This can be explained logically. With a short-term goal, it looks very clear in your head. You can almost feel the happiness of having reached it. In fact, these people feel as if they are already living in that moment. That's the power of our brain.
This feeling only makes it more likely that the goal will be reached, the sooner the better!
The logical result is that you don't fall back into an old rhythm and abandon the goal…
We all know someone who, without fail, is really going to start losing weight on 1 January. Ask in March how the weight loss is going and they've stopped again. Losing weight in itself isn't a goal if no numbers and targets are attached. The result, which is really just guesswork because no hard goal was set, is whatever suits at that moment. People have nothing to hold on to and only change their behaviour in the short term.
Why do people start losing weight? They aren't fit, are too heavy or their trousers don't fit any more. If they only change their pattern in the short term, they quickly fall back into their old rhythm and the well-known yo-yo effect appears.
By changing your daily patterns of thinking and doing instead of trying to lose weight, and so becoming the best version of yourself, you never have to bother with losing weight and dieting again! You can spend the time you save on the good things in life!
I'd be glad to help you with your goals!
